Summer is the most challenging period in the year when it comes to beauty and makeup. Oily skin and makeup do not go together with hot weather and high humidity in the air. This summer wasn't so hot till August. Last few weeks weather in Serbia is too hot and putting makeup on my face is not an option, also this hot weather and my long wavy hair are enemies - so I always put it in a bun because I can't stand to have it falling down on my neck. 

Because of that this summer, it was all about simple makeup and simple skin care. I haven't use eyeshadows soo long, I just started putting them on last week because it was too much and I wanted to rest my face for a bit. This was the first summer ever I used so little makeup and I loved it.

Leto je za mene najizazovniji period u godini kada je šminka i nega kože u pitanju. Sunce nije uvek blagotvorno za mene i moram da vodim mnogo računa o koži, a opet zbog vrućine i visoke temperature ne mogu da nanosim kiseline na lice, da ne bih imala fleke, pa je regulisanje lučenja sebuma i pojava bubuljica i akni izazov. Uz sve to moram reći da je ovo leto bilo dobro prema meni i nisam imala velikih problema sa kožom lica kao prethodnih godina.
Moja nega kože je tokom ovog leta bila jednostavna i zasnovana na hiidrataciji i zaštiti kože od sunca. Baš kako sam negovala kožu i moja šminka je bila minimalna i mislim da je ovo prvo leto kada sam mnogo češće izlazila bez šminke i osećala se sigurno i lepo u svojoj koži.

In this post, I'll show you what skin care products I used and why I love them, and also all makeup products that actually go on my face. It is not much, but what I learned true years good skincare makes every makeup better and also you can pull out great looks with so little makeup, like concealer and eyebrow gel.

All of you that follow my blog you know that I am an oily kind of girl with acne prone skin, but now I can say that my skin looks sooo good and that I have my acne and pimples under control. Hopefully for a lifetime.

This is so unreal to say because just a few months, last year I was not sure if I would ever feel like this. Some products that really helped me a lot you can find in this post and this summer just a few of those were in my everyday skincare.
If I think of the most loved product in this year so far that is for sure Hada Labo skin hydrator with 5 types of hyaluronic acid. it is like putting water on your face and it makes your skin so nice and fresh feeling. I just love it. And what is super about this product is that is a Japanese brand and this bottle has 150ml of product that lasts me for a few months now.

For oil control and for acne and pimples that may appear on my skin I now use spot treatments but on daily basis, I use Bioderma lotion that helps your skin to stay hydrated and acne free because it has a small amount of salicylic acid. I love how it makes my skin fresh and it can really help for those smaller pimples on the skin. Post about this product is here.

Neki proizvodi su novi, a neki su mi u ovoj godini postali apsolutni favoriti. 
Prvi među njima je sigurno Hada Labo hialuron hidrator koji ne presajem da koristim, prva bočica je već pri kraju. Ovo je odlična hidratacija za sve tipove kože, a posebno za masnu. Ja ga koristim svuda, lice, vrat, dekolte pa i ruke, jer je koža nakon njega jako lepo nahranjena, dobije onaj svež i zdrav izgled koji, meni spavalici svakog jutra treba. Još jedan proizvod o kom sam posebno pisala, a koji je stalno tu i koristim ga svakodnevno jeste Bioderma sebium tonik za lice koji ima više uloga. Osnovna, svakako jeste da nahrani lice i da hidrataciju, ali on ujedno reguliše sebum i pomaže u otklanjanju bubuljica, jer ima malu količinu salicilne kiseline. Leto ne može da prođe bez kreme za zaštitu od sunca. Za lice uvek koristim posebne kreme koje su namenjene masnoj koži. Ove godine probala sam Eucerin oil control SPF 30 kremu i zaljubila se. Ovo je tako lagana, prijatna krema za sunčanje, koja je kao gel i ne ostavlja beli trag na licu. Od nje nisam dodatno masna, niti mi je na licu teška, i baš sam oduševljena njom i učinkom. Na moru mi ni nos nije izgoreo niti se ljuštio, iako je to uvek bio slučaj.


For summertime, sun protection is a must, especially for oily skin. Using the right sun cream it can help you a lot - it will protect you from the sun but also it will not clog your pores and your skin will be clear. If you use sun protection cream that is not right for your skin it can make more acne and more pimples on your skin. Luckily now you can find SPF creams specially formulated for oily skin.
The one I used this summer is from Eucerin SPF 30 oil control cream. It is lightweight and feels good on your skin and it doesn't have that white cast on the skin after applying. Really recommend this cream for all oily girls and boys out there.

The latest addition to my skin care was Ziaja micellar piling gel that becomes my favorite way of washing my face after just one use. This is a gel with microbeads that are so tiny and fell so great on the skin. This gel is made to take down all dirt that can get on your face during the day. I use it at night because those small beads make my skin so fresh and clean and I can take off the foundation with it. It is super affordable and the ingredients are good.

One more product I have to mention is Balea micellar water. This is a brand from DM market and it is affordable skin care, hair care, and some makeup. I love this micellar water because takes off my makeup, it doesn't burn my face and you can buy it for just 3$ when it goes on sale.
There are two versions of this water - one purple and one pink. I heard from my followers that pink one is even better so I will try that one as well.

Makeup for me this summer was so light and there were days when I used just concealer and highlighter nothing more. Ah, summer day at the beach in Mallorca - miss them already.
Best foundation for me this summer was from a Turkish based brand that is highly familiar in Eastern Europe and for a good reason. They have great products at a great price.
For my oily skin, Golden Rose long stay matte foundation was so good. It has great coverage and I can't feel it on my skin. I haven't used it on my holiday but after that when I started working it was rediscovered product that sits behind in my makeup drover and I thought I need to use it again and now I'll buy it again for sure.
It makes my skin matte for a long time and it is light on the skin so I can wear it for 10 - 12 hours and do not have a feeling like I put something on my face.

One of the most loved product this summer was for sure Maybelline fit me concealer. On hot summer nights and days, this was the only product I put on my face. Just a little concealer under the eyes, around the nose and on the chin, setting powder on top of it and was good to go. Give me some highlighter and I will leave the house like I have full makeup on. This is for sure one of the best concealers on the market and good for oily or dry skin.

Najnoviji dodaci mojoj nezi kože su dva proizvoda - Balea micelarna voda i Ziaja micelarni piling gel. 
Ziaja piling je nešto što obožavam ovo leto. Prelepo miriše i toliko je blag da možete da ga koritite svaki dan. Ja ga koristim uveče, jer imam osećaj da baš lepo očisti kožu i sa lice skine sve nakupljene nečistoće. Ne iritira kožu, ne izlaze mi bubuljice od njega i stvarno je odličan i povoljan. Obožavam ga, jer u letnjim danima zbog intenzivnog lučenja sebuma stalno želim osećaj čiste kože, koji dobijam upravo sa njim. 

Balea micelarnu vodu sam kupila na predlog mojih pratilaca na IG i stvarno je odlična. Već drugu bočicu trošim. Jako je povoljna, a skida šminku podjednako dobro kao neke mnogo skuplje vode. Dostupna je u DM drogerijama u dve verzije - ljubičasta i roza, koje su namenjene različitim tipovima kože, a kako čujem roza je boljeg sastava, pa ću sigurno sledeću da je probam. 

A sada da pređemo na najzanimljiviji deo, bar menin, šminkanje. 
Ako me pratite na IG videćete da objavljujem mini videe šminkanja i kako uživam igrajući se bojama, ali ovo leto sam skroz zakazala i nosila minimalnu količinu šminke i uživala u tome. 

Sve što sam nosila je na slici ispod. Dobro fali par sitnica, ali ovo su proizvodi koji su skoro svaki dan na mom licu. 
Na moru gotovo nisam koristila puder, ali po povratku otkrila sam ponovo koliko je dobar ovaj GR longstay mat puder. Totalno sam zaboravila na njega, a sada sam oduševljena kako izgleda na licu, i ova bočica mi je već pri kraju, tako da ću sigurno uzeti još koju. Inače moj je u nijansi 05 i malo mi je roza, ali na tamnoj koži to se ne vidi jako. Lagan je, ima potpunu moć prekrivanja i drži me mat dosta dugo, čak duže od nekih skupljih pudera koje imam.

Ovo leto korektor je nešto što sam nosila skoro svakodnevno i uvek je to bio Maybelline Fit me u nijansama 15 i 20. Obožavam ovaj korektor. Savršen je i prelepo izgleda i na masnoj i na suvoj koži. Letos sam samo njega nosila u predelu ispod očiju, oko nosa i na bradi. Samo bih ga setovala puderom i nanela hajlajter i osećala sam se prelepo, kao da imam kompletnu šminku. 

Naravno puder u kamenu za stovanje na meni je gotovo uvek Rimel stay matte, koji volim, jer svi drugi koje sam probala urade isto, ne traju ni duže niti izgledaju bolje na licu, a ovaj proizvod je jako povoljan. Trenutno probam jedan novi puder za setovanje i baš je jako dobar i mislim da će biti mrtva trka koji će pobediti. 


Setting powder I love is for sure Rimmel Stay matte -  I can use other but usually, I go back to this one. On my clients I use others but for me, I always use this one and now I am testing new one I think it is also so good and it is also so affordable. This powder is great for oily skin and I do not feel a big difference between this one and some high end once.

Contouring highlight and blush I have in just one product that becomes my go to from the minute I got it. It is this small compact palette from Golden Rose and I love it. The blush was broken on my flight back from Mallorca but what can I do. I love all 3 products in here and if I need to recommend some product for you and that it is affordable and good it would be this palette. For 10$ you get 3 products and they are pigmented, good color and lasts on your face the whole day.

One more highlighter I used a lot during this summer period was Maybelline master chrome highlighter. Gold tones are great for tanned skin and I love how it looks on the face and body. Even now I use it a lot and I love that I have it. It can be subtle on the skin but also you can make it glow to Heavens.

Summer couldn't go without some eyeliner - I haven't used it a lot but when I wanted that sharp line I was using this small essence liquid eyeliner. This one is for sure the best eyeliner form the drug store - it is black, longlasting and on my oily lids lasts a whole day. no need on spending more money on some high-end eyeliner when this one can do all you need ( for example I have matte eyeliner from Tarte and I can use it only on the cold weather because it will transfer on my linds in a matter of two hours and I hate that)
For brows this summer it was all about Maybelline tattoo brow in the darkest shade. If I leave this product on my brows for 45 minutes it will last on my skin for 3 days, but if I have time to leave I for 2 hours I will have my brows on for 5 days and this saves me a lot of time. It is great for every day and for summer days on the beach as well.

Konturisanje lica, rumenilo i hajlajter su u jednom proizvodu koji ne ispuštam i z ruke od prvog korišćenja. U pitanju je GR metals kontur paleta, koja je nažalost razbijena na letu sa Majorke, rumenilo nije preživelo, ali puder za konturiisanje i hajlajter jesu. Sva tri proizvoda su odlična - boje prelepe, puder za konturisanje odlične nijanse, nije narandžast, a hajlajter savršen i suptilan i jak u zavisnosti od toga kako ga nanosite.

Pored hajlajtera iz ove palete zbog preplanulog tena često sam koristila Maybelline maste chrome hajlajter, koji je divan i baš lepo izgleda na preplanuloj koži. Nije fino mleven i ima jači trag na koži, ali ja baš uživam u njemu od kada sam ga kupila. Nije za one jako svetle puti, a na tamnoj koži izgleda prelepo.

Još dva  proizvoda bez kojih nisam mogla ovo leto su: Maybelline tatto brow koji je odličan način da uštedite vreme i imate obrve više dana. 
Gel je poput smole i tetovira predeo kože na koji ga nanesete privremeno - ako ga držim 45min imaću obrve 3 dana, a ako uspem da ga nanesem i ostavim 2 sata, moje obrve stoje i do 5 dana. Moja nijansa je najtamnija i uopšte se ne ispira na žuto kako sam pročitala i čula kod mnogih. Ovo je proizvod koji je leti i na moru super, jer i na plaži možete imati obrve koje neće izgledati prenapadno. 

Kada je ajlajner u pitanju jedan stari favorit ima svoj "come back", jer ga dugo nisam koristila, a sada opet uživa u njemu. U pitanju je Essence tečni ajlaner mat crni, koji je odličan za masne kapke - traje ceo dan, jako je crn i ne razliva se uopšte. Mnogo je bolji od nekih skupljih ajlajnera.


One more product I have to mention in this post - it is nail polish that was on my nails on the feets whole summer. This is Golden rose color expert nail polish in the shade 130. I love this color - it is a mixture of purple and blue and looks fresh and vibrant on nails and I couldn't get enough of it true whole summer period.
